In your " Since the happiness of kingship is useless," I'm thinking "Since a
kingship without happiness is useless," makes better sense. For the latter
sende the third pāda would have to read either

"moghaṃ rajjāsukhaṃ yasmā"

or

"moghaṃ rajjaṃ'sukhaṃ yasmā"

for an "asukhaṃ" (without happiness) interpretation.

I'm in agreement with the rest of your translation.
