Re: Tipiṭaka Pāli-Myanmar

It is pretty comprehensive but not yet completed. Most of the grammatical analyses are based on Mahakaccayana, Padarupasiddhi, Moggallana, Niruttidipani and, of course, the exegetical Atthakathas and Tikas.

There're no copyright laws in Myanmar, so now the whole bulk is available in soft copy (pdf as well as digital) from Buddhasetaman Kyaung in Yangon. There is a website (http://buddhasetaman.net/) but it's poorly managed, without any contact info. The high tech monks there have created apps for iPad which include the whole Pali tipitaka, atthakatha and tika (both digital and pdf) with links to the Tipitaka Pali Myanmar Dictionary, U HoutSein Pali-Myanmar-English Dict., PTS and Palipada. The fonts can be changed between Myanmar and Roman scripts. Pdfs of all available nissaya translations (popular, and ancient) are also available. There are also DVD CDs for Windows.

I understand that there is also an Android version available in Mandalay, but it comes together with a made-in-China Tablet only.
