The DPR also has a context menu shortcut (i.e. right click menu item). 
Once the DPR is installed, highlight some text in a text box, right
click on the text, then choose DPR>Convert>To Unicode

There's also an extension for Thunderbird on the DPR site:
http://pali.sirimangalo.org/ which I use to convert email messages.

I would much more recommend using your own email client than Yahoo's
site.  I think maybe the problem wouldn't have even come up if you had. 
Just send email to palistudy@... from your registered email
address (scbeadle@...).
