Hi Khristos -
I changed the Character Encoding to Unicode (UTF 8), as per your suggestion.
Wow. This changes everything.
However, this leads to another beginner's question. I can now view messages with the proper Pali characters. But how do I input such characters? For example, how do I put an "a" with a bar over it into a message, instead of using Velthuis "aa"?
Am viewing the Site through Yahoo Groups, using Firefox on Windows 7. Do I cut and paste Unicode characters from the Windows Character Map? If so, are there shortcuts for this?
Thanks again --
Steve
