Dear Friends,
Thanks for the help. Via google, i found Dr. Deshpande's email, and he
replied immediately, offering to send me a copy in the next days.
Then, today I visited Wat Mahadhatu, and inquired of the bookstore about
it. The directed me to another office where they are putting together the
new version of the tipitaka, based on the sixth council version. Turns
out they have the atthakatha and tika together in one volume, which I have
obtained and have sitting next to me right now. They also promised to
send doc file version in the comin days, which I can convert into roman
and make available.
The explanation I got is that because burma holds the milinda to be
canonical, they made an atthakatha. Thai holds it to be a commentary, so
they made a tika.
Some heavy reading tonight :-)
Best wishes,
Yuttadhammo
