Translations of Pāli texts

Dear all,

Has anyone come across research summarising the various modern translations of the Pāli Canon into Burmese, Sinhala, Thai, etc. (eg. their history, how widely they are used, who uses them, etc.). I’m particularly interested to learn more about the Burmese translation which, I understand, was made soon after the sixth council and is based upon the sixth council Pāli text. I’ve been reading a little of the Burmese translation and it seems to be done well and is rather helpful.
