Thanks for your take on "taava" in "pa.thama.m taava". I find
Wijeratne/Gethin's translation of  "capable of analysis" for
vibhaagavantaana.m interesting but I don't see "capable of" as a meaning
given for the taddhita suffix 'mantu' which usually carry the meanings of
'tadasssatthi' or 'tasmi.m vijjati'. See the vutti for Kc 369 (satyaadiihi
mantu). Perhaps there is something in the Paa.ninian suutras that includes
the additional meaning of "capable of".
