Dear Chris,
I can't see why su + ālaṅkataṃ can't become sulaṅkataṃ in sandhi
combination with elision of "ā". And this is in agreement with Kc 13
(vā oaro asarūpā) -- optional elision of the following vowel. However,
"svālaṅkataṃ" would be the normal choice if the metre allowed for it.
(I'm assuming a short syllable is required in the verse). I see that
"svālaṅkatā" occurs 4 times in the Paṭisambhidāmagga.
