Patna Dhammapada question

Hi All,

In the Patna Dhammapada, there is a perplexing verb form (jayaamatha),  which I can't figure out. Does anyone know the form? The Paali equvialent ("yamaamase") is a first person pl. imperative per PED.

Paali Dhp:

pare ca na vijaananti
mayam ettha yamaamase
ye ca tattha vijaananti
tato sammanti medhagaa

Patna Dhp:
pare ca na vijaanaMti
vayam ettha jayaamatha
ye ca tattha vijaanaMti
tato "saaMmaMti medhakaa

Bhikkhu Thanissaro translates the Paali as:

Unlike those who don't relaize
that we're here on the verge of perishing,
those who do: their quarrels are stilled.

Thanks, Bryan
