Hello,

I am not sure if Ole Holten Pind has already found what he is looking for
but I have an interactive DVD (in Burmese) with the complete set of
digital images of the stone slabs. I can happily send it to him if he
wishes so. It has been created by Sitagu Buddhist University near Mandalay
and the quality of the program is really good it seems.

I also questioned one Sayadaw about the Burmese Pegu edition of the Pali
canon. He said that after the 6th council this version became much harder
to find but there are still a few sets which can be found in some
monasteries around. The best I guess would be to digitize one set with a
digital camera but this could take quite some time.

Finally I wanted to inform Jim that I am about to finally get hold of one
copy of the niruttisaarama~njuusaa. The problem with that book is that it
is old, rare and heavy and the Sayadaw does not really want to carry it
all the way from Sagaing to Yangon. But I will find a way.

Best regards,

Florent
