Dhammapadaṃ, 1. Yamakavaggo (The Pairs), Verse 13

yathā agāraṃ ducchannaṃ | vuṭṭhī samativijjhati ||
evaṃ abhāvitaṃ cittaṃ | rāgo samativijjhati || 13 ||

13. Just as rain penetrates a badly thatched house,
so passion penetrates an undeveloped mind.
