My comment with regard to "Buddhism" was inspired by the distinction between a religious teaching and a religious tradition. It is not possible to give a precise definition for Buddhism because there are so many religious traditions or groups that claim to be Buddhist. Only thing they seem to have in common is that they trace there first teacher to Gotama the Buddha. It is clearly impossible for the Buddha to give many meanings to one set of words. Thank you again for your understanding.
