about sandhi

Dear friends

I do not know how to understand the sandhi involved in the following sentence,

Tattha samathayaanikassa samathamukhena vipassanaabhiniveso, vipassanaayaanikassa pana samatha.m anissaayaati aaha " amissitavipassanaayaanavaa"ti attho

It is 'vipassanaayaanavaa'ti' in 'amissita-vipassanaayaana-vaa"ti' that confuses me. how to break 'vipassanaayaanavaa'? is Please help.
