May I have some pointers as to the proper steps in studying this
translation? I understand the prefix "a" to mean a reversal of
meaning or negation. Is this correct?
For "appati.t.tha.m" I have the following candidates: pati.t.thahati,
pa.t.thaana, pa.t.thaapeti. These all seem to correspond to "not
taking a footing."
For "avuso" I have vutti, vuttika. These seem to correspond to
conduct, practise, or mode of being or "not exerting."
For "anaayuuha.m" I have ayutta, aayuuhita, aayuuhana, aayuuhati,
aayuuhaka, aayuussa, aayuttaka, and aayutta. These seem to correspond
being active, eager, endeavouring, straining, etc., to "not exerting."
May I please have some pointers as to the proper way to proceed in this?
