thanks.

For avi~n~naataaresu, I like to think it is from your second
suggestion: avi~n~naatar (decline like satthar). But, I can't be sure.

For atthama~n~naati, it has to be a Sandhi, because the term is not a
compound at all. Pardon me for the question. Hence, atthama~n~naati =
attha ma~n~naati, knows the meaning.
