Sorry for late reply. Somehow I did not receive your message.

I don't know how to adjust the spellchecker for different fonts.
I have tried it, but without success.

So far one can convert the text to Velthuis with MS Word macros
http://dhamma.ru/paali/macros.zip
use spellchecker and then make reverse conversion.
