A word in Pali for retreat...?

Dear Friends,

First I want to say, that the discussion regarding the jhaana is
fascinating. I'm sorry that my knowledge is still limited, but
hopefully during time, I will be able to contribute as well.

As for my question, a friend of mine asked me if there is a Pali word
for the English word "retreat". The only thing I could think of was
the word vihaara and duura vihaara.
Is that correct? Do you have any other suggestions?
