For reiterating that the Dharma is so easy to practise, esp through a proper understanding of sotapanna.

Scholars often try to make Buddhism complicated for professional reasons (read economic facility), which is not bad in itself. After it is a peaceful (pre)occupation and has contributed much to the word understanding of Buddhism.

However, as you have stated again (echoing the spirit of the Cakkhu Sutta and the Saupadisesa Sutta) work towards Sotapanna.
