Dear Ven. Pandita and friends,

thank you, Bhante. I shall update the solutions accordingly.

Bhante: how do we translate question 10 from the same exercise:

Pa.n.ditaa ya.m ya.m desa.m bhajanti tattha tatth'eva puujitaa honti.

metta,
Yong Peng.

It should be "ga'ngaaya.m" because the stem "ga'ngaa", meaning the
river of Ganges (not any river given by the context), is of feminine
gender.

ga'ngaaya.m ---> nahaatabba.m (LOV -- see the Locus-verb relation at
RG 12)
The translation should be "You should not bathe in the river Ganges".

> Bhante: thank you. I shall make reference to your posts within the
solutions to Ven. Narada's exercise 14. Before I wrap up the
exercise, I have another sentence from the same exercise which
requires clarification:
>
>You should not bathe in the river.
>tayaa / na nahaatabba.m / ga`nga.m
>Tayaa ga`nga.m na nahaatabba.m.
