I would think that if the imperative was being used here, then "maa"
would be used instead of "na". What do others think? In which case
this would be a simple present indicative sentece, thus:
We do not take other [people]'s goods.

> 20. Etaani phalaani maa tassa saku.nassa detha.
> those fruits / do not / to it / to bird / give!
> Do not give those fruits to the bird.
If "tassa" is interpreted as dative, agreeing with "saku.nassa",
then perhaps it takes on more a sense of "that". Thus:
Do not give those fruits to that bird.
Alternatively, one could take it as a genitive with a different
referent, thus:
Do not give those fruits to his bird.
