for all kind of unicode--character-viewing-troubles: i found the mozilla firefox (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/) be more reliable when it comes to display HTML Unicode characters (as far as i remember, they have built in unicode support)...

Subject: [Pali] pali font encoding

To those who know something about font coding/encoding:

I am making a website, and I was wondering, how can you make
Google search your site properly if your site contain Pali fonts? The
search results show weird characters (for example, squares or other
funny looking marks)...I am just using the regular Tahoma fonts which
can be used to write Pali (well on my computer anyway). I was
wondering if this is a universal font (meaning others on windows
wouldn't need to install extra fonts).

I hope that makes sense. I was wondering if someone could please help
me.

Any hints much appreciated.

Thank you very much,
June
