Hello all,

Please find, as promised, the contents of the newly found Sanskrit
manuscript of the Digha. 1500 years lying forgotten in the sands of
Afghanistan, now on your PC! I notice that one of the new,
previously unknown suttas bears the intriguing title 'Mayajala',
the 'Magic Net'. Now, what kind of net might that be? Not by any
chance the 'antarajala'...?

Bhante Sujato

(Mula) Sarvastivada Dirgha Agama (DA2)

Contents reconstructed by Jens-Uwe Hartmann, largely from the
information contained in the uddanas and folio numbers. Hartmann
says that these results are now `close to certainty'. Below I also
give the structure of the Dharmaguptaka Dirgha Agama (DA) from the
Chinese. Most of the DA/DN suttas have several other parallels, too,
in Chinese, Tibetan or Skt.
