Dear Nina and friends,

thanks very much.

The location of the sentence (or part of a sentence in PTS) should be
PTS3.35 instead of PTS3.28. Sorry for that.

Allow me to reconstruct the sentence:

Yo ca me aya.m, bhante, bhagavati pasaado, tam-eva-aha.m
saadhukamanurakkhissaamii.
which / and / for me / this / venerable Sir / in the Blessed One
/ faith / that-indeed-I / will thoroughly observe
And this which is for me, venerable Sir, faith in the Blessed One,
that I shall indeed well observe.

And the individual terms:

yo (rel. pron., nom. sing. of ya) which, that.
ca (ind.) and.
me (per. pron., dat.) to/for me.
bhante (voc.) venerable Sir.
bhagavati (loc.) in the Blessed One.
pasaada (m.) faith.
tamevaaha.m = ta.m + eva + aha.m = itÂ…indeedÂ…I
saadhuka.m (adv.) well, thoroughly.
anurakkhati (v.) guards, preserves. (In this case) observes.
saadhukamanurakkhissaamii = saadhukam + anurakkhissaamii : will
thoroughly observe.

I look forward to your suggestions and comments.

metta,
Yong Peng

N: And that which is for me, venerable sir, faith in the Blessed One,
that I shall indeed well observe.

Y:> tamevaaha.m = ta.m + eva + aha.m ??
N: I think this is correct. I could not trace the right location at
PTS. The Co right at the end comments on this, but uses: anurukkha.
