one who understands the mind / will breathe in / trains himself
"'I will breathe in as one who understands the mind', he trains
himself;

* cittappa.tisa.mvedii = citta+p+pa.tisa.mvedii : one who understands
the mind.

'cittappa.tisa.mvedii passasissaamii'ti sikkhati;
one who understands the mind / will breathe out / trains himself
'I will breathe out as one who understands the mind', he trains
himself;

'abhippamodaya.m citta.m assasissaamii'ti sikkhati;
rejoicing with / mind / will breathe in / trains himself
'Rejoicing with the mind, I will breathe in', he trains himself;

* abhippamodaya.m (pres. part. of abhippamodati) rejoicing (ins.)

'abhippamodaya.m citta.m passasissaamii'ti sikkhati;
rejoicing with / mind / will breathe out / trains himself
'Rejoicing with the mind, I will breathe out', he trains himself;

'samaadaha.m citta.m assasissaamii'ti sikkhati;
concentrating / mind / will breathe in / trains himself
'Focusing the mind, I will breathe in', he trains himself;
