N: I would say the opposite: And how does he contemplate the body (*not a
self*) in the body (which is actually a collection of material phenomena)?
I would prefer: And How, instead of: "For what reason", because after the
words: And how... the Buddha will explain how it is done.
Y: What form is 'kaayaanupassii' in?
N: It is a compound (Bahubihi or so?), and the first is just the stem, but
as to meaning it is patient, accusative. A body- contemplator. Nupassii: the
person wo (possessing contemplation) contemplates.
I only have Warder, but I find it very useful if you can quote from other
grammars sometimes, such as Duroiselle.
