Dear Piya,

a good Thai-English
> dictionary (So Sethaputra?)
N:I have the old fashioned Mary R Haas (poor in royal words), but I am just
inquiring about CDRom from a friend.
I also have Pali Thai: phacanaa nakarom, by P. Hlongsombun.
P: Is this Jaran Jainhuknan (who is in Singapore and attended one of my
> classes)
N: The very man, an old friend. He may not read this, is very busy, but I
shall ask him also more info about books on line, it would be easier for you
to have all books on CDRom.
P: What are the exact titles (Thai tr of Commentaries) that I should quote
in
> my orders?
N: I have the whole catalogue here, last time they had many books out of
stock. Mahamakut rachavithialaj, Sumera rd (thanon sumeen). The whole of the
Tipitaka and each sutta is followed by its co. beautifully bound and cheap
for European standards. Just start with: phrasuttanta pitok, thiganikaaj,
etc. The Co are already incorporated in each book, you cannot forego them!
However, D.N. 6 books, M.N. 7 books, 91 books in all. I only have about 24.
You could just order a few to start with. If you give ne your address I can
send this catalogue. Unless you opt for CD.
P: I know there is also the Thai Translation on CD which I am contemplating
of
> getting, too.
N: I wrote to a friend for info on this and shall write to Jaran. When I
need advice (royal words!) , this friend always seems to use CD. Maybe
easier for you.

I cannot get the Thai on computer.
I'll let you know when I have more info.
