(There is) no reason, no cause for the holiness of beings, they
become pure without reason and without cause.

natthi = na+atthi, no, not, not present.
hetu (m.) cause, reason, condition.
satta (m.) a creature, living being.
visuddhi (f.) purity, holiness, splendour, excellency.
visujjhati (v.) to become clean or pure.
