See, that is just the ongoing argument in dsg. All the references
that you quoted saying that vi~n~nana is included in nama don't come
from the suttas. If you could give a reference from the suttas that
supports that, I would be inclined to agree, but if you only have
references from the VisM ceartainly the "four great authorities"
would apply here:
"In such a case, bhikkhus, the declaration of such a bhikkhu is
neither to be received with approval nor with scorn. Without
approval and without scorn, but carefully studying the sentences
word by word, one should trace them in the Suttas and verify them by
the Vinaya. If they are neither traceable in the Suttas nor
verifiable by the Vinaya, one must conclude thus: 'Certainly, this
is not the Blessed One's utterance; this has been misunderstood by
that bhikkhu -- or by that community, or by those elders, or by that
elder.'"
