Hi Derek,

On a dry hair-splitting point, I prefer to avoid Latinate terms whenever I
can, and stick to good old simple Anglo-Saxon. Latinate "benevolence", for
example, literally translates "good will". Anyway like you I think
"lovingkindness" is here to stay. We might need the blessings of the Pali
pontiffs on this, though :)
