That attitude would only continue the ignoble IE tradition. After all,
Mr Kaya is not
even a linguist.

But the advice about utanmak is a good one. Mr. Kaya has enough mathematical
knowledge to know that what he has produced cannot be justified
probabilistically.

On the other hand, if he cannot understand the rules historical
linguists use maybe it
is because either they themselves do not understand them, or they make
them up
as they go along. My feeling is that both are true to various degrees
depending on the
linguist. I am too tired after a long trip to get involved in yet
another (for the umpteenth time)
argument with people whose works are just as bad as Mr. Kaya's but they
are too
ignorant to even understand it.
