Personally I am interested in reading about the linguistic
connections between PU, PIE, and other members of the Nostratic
(super)family of languages.  I find it more meaningful if the
discussion is based on sane logic and accepted linguistic
principles.  To that end I was hoping to be welcome here and at
Nostratic-L also.  But Gerry you make it sound as if I have to decide
either, or.  Surely this is not your intention?

You are right about the group discussion.  There is none at Nostratic-
L.  I guess Andy should place a welcome message.  Someone has to post
first and the most appropriate person is the owner of the list.
