Chuvash also has epe (I) instead of CT ben/men.
        Again p>k gives  epe>eke (ego, etc).  And if it was something like *epen what would
also give rise to ben/men, epe, etc.

First person *-ku (*-kV) seems not to be related at all to first
person *mu (*ni).  I have no idea where it came from.  Being stative
endings, one might think of analyzing *0-ku and *t-ku, where *ku might
stand for "to be". But that's just a wild guess.
