Hi Gerry

I was rather hesitant about giving an opinion about this on-list. However,
other theories expressed on other subjects (not just linguistics) by the
author of the Lexiline site, who I believe is Andis Kaulins, have on
numerous occasions been called into question on other discussion groups.
Whilst I'm not competent to make any comment on Mr. Kaulins' linguistic
theories, and whilst linguistics seems a fairly fraught field anyway, I
myself would certainly be rather cautious about accepting any of the
arguments described on the Lexiline site.

Obviously, I don't know what other listmembers feel.

Best regards,

Jean Kelly

& while reading the summary got very confused. Please, have a look &
give me your opinions - whatever comes to mind, to clear up my
confusion :) If you happen to have evidence to support or refure the
hypothesis, please, share.

Camilla.
