I will be looking at roots. I think we've exhausted the issue of
affixes, but we shall see. I don't think syntactic parallels have
been mentioned, except for a very few set phrases, such as 'eye of the
day' = 'sun'.

All over the place. C = consonant, V = vowel. The digits, implicitly
subscripted, identify the consonants, so I can say C2VC3 is the root.
You may have noticed that I omitted the nasal that pops up in various
places.
