I always recommend the New Introduction of Old Norse - it being more user-friendly than Gordon

There is of course the dictionary

Zoega and

Not so user friendly and also more expensive - vastly  - or is that because of its rarity

Our online course is a good one to start with is the one we call our home page - not the same scope
as the New Intro but good

Hi all,

I want to start working on translating the Havamal, and I'm hoping you
guys might know of the best dictionary and grammar aid I can use to
start with. I do plan on getting some books, but in the meantime I
figured I'd save some scratch and start online.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
- - sabin
