This is perhaps not the time to mention that our local þing
took about ten years to go through Laxdæla! I hasten to say
that we meet only about once a month and generally take a
break during the summer, and that while we've usually had
half a dozen and sometimes as many as a dozen or so
regulars, only a couple of us normally take on chunks
comparable in length to one of yours.

How long did it take you to go through Njála?
