The smiler to the left of Gunnar is Otkell,
the dark one to the right is Skammkell.
The screencaps are from this production:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0441888/
It was produced as a "pilot" for a TV-series,
but I don't think they managed to finance any
more of it, so we'll probably never see any
more of it. It's just 30 minutes, and only
covers the Otkell/Skammkell episode. At least
we get to see Gunnar slap Hallgerður ;-)
It is actually available as an .mpg on a disk
which accompanies a recent edition of Njála in
paperback (in Icelandic, of course). The "film"
is followed by 30 minutes of interviews with
various Icelandic "experts", mostly academics,
an expert on medieval law, and amateur Njála
aficionados.
