sure. The Wikipedia entry has more to say about his translations.

I'd just like to second that. I remember how inspiring I found his TV
series Vikings! when I was young, and later my excitement when I came
across the book he wrote to accompany it. That's probably where I
first met Old Norse poetry in translation. Salutes to Magnus Magnusson.
