I think í Arnarbæli is a farmstead: og fylgdu honum mjög margir menn
af bæ þeim er heitir í Arnarbæli (Þorláks saga helga). Bæli = 'boeli'
(1) den, lair; (2) farm, dwelling. Maybe it was named after a man
called Örn?
