Thats interesting, as it wasnt the message that I intended to convey. My thought was more along the line of an object or weapon that would decieve an opponents shield. Thanks for your reply, I never thought of it in that sense.
 
So let me have another go at this - if it was a weapon that was being deceptive to an opponent is should be structured as "[insert weapon]" "véla" to be more specific if it was a weapon that decieved shields it would be structured "[insert weapon]" "véla" "skjöldur" ????
