I was idly browsing some manuscript images on Sagnanet when I came upon a
poem called "Valagaldur Kráku" which I'd never heard of before. With the
help of Eysteinn Björnsson I tried to make some sense of it. This was not
completely successful but my scribbles are here if anyone's interested:

It's all in Icelandic, I'm afraid. The gist is that this seems to be some
young poem (18th century?) in the Eddic style. It relates how two birds of
prey deliver news to Kráka/Áslaug, daughter of Sigurðr. She could
apparently, like her father, understand the speech of birds.
