Þá var Kali fimtán vetra er hann fór með kaupmönnum vestr til
Then Kali was fifteen winters (old) when he sailed with traders west to

Englands, ok hafði góðan kaupeyri. Þeir heldu til þess kaupstaðar er

Grímsboer heitir. Kom þar mikit fjöl- menni bæði af Nóregi ok
is called Grimsby. Great crowds come there both from Norway and

Orkneyjum, af Skotlandi ok Suðreyjum. Eptir þat fór Kali vestan á hinu
(the) Orkneys, from Scotland and Suderoy (Faroes?). After that Kali
sailed west in the

sama skipi ok kómu útan at Ögðum ok heldu þaðan til Björgynjar. Þá

'Vér höfum vaðnar leirur

with, in (the) middle of Grimsby.

Nú'r þat's más of mýrar
Now when it ? ?? of (the) moor

Björgynjar til dynja.'
resounding to Bergen.
