Thanks, Alan! I appreciate your help!

I had suggested before that it would be great if someone who knows how
to pronounce ON could record and upload to the files section something
like what we used to use on the old typewriters (the quick brown fox
jumps over the lazy dog) to make sure all the keys worked. I think it
would only take a few sentences. We could memorize them and then be
more confident of how we are pronouncing words. It often happens in
English to English speakers who have only read a word in English and
have assumed some pronunciation that turns out to be pronounced a
different way!

Haukur has read several stanzas of poetry on the site, but poetry is so
complicated for a beginner. I have started to try to memorize it, but
the words don't hang together for me.
