Hello, 

 

I am a practitioner of the Norse religion and am very fond of works like the Elder Edda and some of the Sagas.  I know this is not a religious group but I thought I would join to see what I could learn.  I very badly want to learn Old Norse so I could read such great works in their untranslated text.  If anyone could help me I would appreciate it.  I would like to know what the first steps would be to learning such a language.
