well, get to where it says "Runic and Jungian Psychology" and then
turn back a page - that diagram is also a Jungian one, fairly
identical to one in Jung's work on mandalas, with the names changed
as I described. however, I did goof last night, because in
_Runelore_, he presents Jung's map of the soul exactly as that - it's
in other works where he just changes the names and doesn't identify
it as Jung.

but many thanks for the reference. I do enjoy Edred's stuff - both
academic and magic-focused - when he actually explains what he's
talking about, rather than present it as unvarnished fact that
doesn't need any kind of reference.
