This one is in modern Icelandic though!
(and has some genealogy, which I think isn't good
when you read it just to learn the language)

Well, this one was actually "made in USA"!
(the typing and proofreading was done by Prof. Zoe Borowsky
and her students in the USA)

Such proofreading is actually a heck of a lot of work.
But as far as I was able to determine, Borowsky was able to
produce a net version of all the fornaldr sagas that you
find in Gudny Jonsson's edition. Well done!

So that is a good source for the fornaldr sagas:
Borowsky's web site "darkwing" in California somewhere.
(why such scary name, one wonders? Gothic???)

You are also a Gothic type, Selv. Don't you think all that Loki
stuff sounds a bit scary? Or do you also see Loki as an image
of suppressed humanity tied with chains in deep caverns,
and ruled by -- mindless apes? Well, if Loki is humanity,
who are the apes?
