You might consider to use the font on your maschine and then produce Acrobat
*.pdf-Files from those word files, it will be very easy for everyone to read
it exactly as you produced it. No one will have to get the font, everyone
will need the acrobat-reader, nothing else.

AND, *.pdf are complete OS-independent.
