Here we go!
I've made two pairs of files.
In each pair I read the same stanza
with two different pronunciation schemes;
normal modern Icelandic and reconstructed
Old Icelandic pronunciation.
My problems with the OI are too numerous
to count but I might mention:
* Difficulty in voicing b, d and g.
* Severe difficulty with vowel and consonant
length; especially with such minimal siblings
as: hat-hatt-hát-hátt.
* Tendency to make a diphthong out of ó.
* Tendency to run o and ö together.
* Tendency for pre-aspiration before tt, pp and kk.
* Inability to make bilabial sounds.

P.S. Óskar, should I post your readings from the Völuspá?
P.P.S. Oh, yes, and you need an MP3-player.
