I'm glad somebody asked this question :)

No, it's by no means too late. In two months time, it won't be too
late either. We want this course to remain open to new students for
as long as we maintain it.

The majority of the students may have started already; most, or all,
have finished lesson 1, and a few are through lesson 2. But as a new
student, you need not worry about that at all, since all produced
material should be available to you. I think lesson 1 has still not
been put into the Files section (yes, that's you, Haukur), where it
belongs. But even so, all material is available on the course's home
page:

www.hi.is/~haukurth/norse

Take a look; the supplementary files (pronunciation guide and such)
are wholly optional, so don't worry too much about that. Go through
lesson 1, and send your solutions to me (Haukur is too busy now). I'm
open to questions and solutions for _any_ lessons produced, not just
the one most people are doing.

So, if you're still interested, welcome to the course :)
