That's what I'm getting at. Taking it a bit
further, say that their is some government office
that has, by law, two holders. Say that the title
of these office holders is neuter (lets
transcribe the word as [A]).

Now, say you are angry at some policy they
support and write a scathing editorial in the
newspaper

"You [A]'s are ruining our country. You two don't
care about the people"

(note: saying "you two" is a simple dual pronoun
in English is not entirely correct, it is
informal, and appears somewhat disrespectfull if
not used in a very familiar context, thus I have
made this editorial a "scathing" editorial to fit
my feeling for the phrase "you two").

Now, you have already referred to them with the
neuter title [A], then - for the newspaper -
consider how would you decline the "two" in the
following sentence where you use "you two". Then
further consider whether earlier people might not
have worded it differently.
